Help! Leaves dropping like crazy

By | 2018-12-28T19:14:07+00:00 December 28th, 2018|1 Comment

My fiddle is dropping leaves like crazy. The brown spots are light in color and mostly around the edges with a few spots in the middle that are brown. Most of the leaves falling are near the bottom. I am assuming this is root rot. Can anyone suggest how to save this guy? And quickly.
Note: I have been using a Moisture/Light/pH meter and near bottom is reading “wet.”

Thanks for the help!

It sounds like you may have root rot due to insufficient drainage and your root ball is staying too wet. Not enough sunlight can make this problem worse. Too large of a pot can also cause your plant’s roots too remain to wet between waterings. Address your drainage immediately. Make sure you have a well-draining container, fast-draining potting soil, and that you aren’t watering too frequently.
