Propagation question

I took 2 cuttings from my FLFs and have been propagating them in water. They are actually doing quite well, but I just noticed today that the roots have changed from a whitish color to a rusty color – overnight. I changed the water yesterday which I have done about once a week or so since starting them (they’ve been in there for about 3-4 weeks). The roots have grown very quickly over the last 7-10 days.

Is the color change normal as the roots age?? Thanks!
