Edema? Root rot? Virus? Help!

Hello!

I got a fiddle leaf fig plant one week ago. It was beautiful and green. I watered it thoroughly, let it drain thoroughly and sprayed it with neem oil the day I purchased it. I brought it into my home where it only receives indirect light.

One week later I am seeing large and small brown spots on the leaves.

could you please help me determine what is wrong with the plant, where I went wrong and how I can save it?

Thank you in advance for your diagnosis and advice!!

Thank you for your question and photos. I suggest moving your plant to the right so it has the full benefit of the light from the window it is next to. Most likely it is not getting enough light being pulled to the side of the window. When watering, ensure you are watering until it drains out the bottom then wait to water again when the top inches of soil are dry.
