Should I prune my FLF?

I bought my FLF at Costco last winter, and since then, all but 4 leaves have fallen off. It had a bit of root rot and some kind of infestation of tiny white bugs that lived in the soil. I completely removed all of the soil and trimmed three soft roots, repotted it in fresh soil, watered and fed it regularly, I placed it where it gets a good amount of inspect light. Since then, it’s sprouted a new branch with four new leaves. Of the original four leaves from when I first bought it, three have holes or brown spots. Should I prune those leaves, or would that stress the plant too much?
