Hi Alan, I would prune some of the leaves (less healthy ones) to lighten the load. Then you can read here and try notching to try to get more branches to grow. Also, this video here is all about strengthening and thickening the branches. Hope this helps!

Hello Maricela, Usually, new growth only stops because of lack of water, lack of nutrients, or lack of light. So it is very likely one of those. How many hours would you say it is getting light from the West facing window? This article here should help you determine if Jade is getting enough light. There are instances where an artificial light source can be used. I didn't see the pictures come through - Can you post them again? Thanks,

Holes or missing chunks almost always indicate an insect problem. I would spray with our leaf armor product or a generic neem oil every two weeks until the problem is solved and there's no more evidence of bugs. Hope this helps!

Hello Wendy, Thank you for answering all those questions. That was very thorough. First, let's address the issue with watering. My suggestion is to get a moisture meter. You can also read more about that here, as well as about the symptoms of a dry or overwatered plant. https://fiddleleaffigplant.com/dry-and-over-watered-fiddle-leaf-fig-plant/ Since you asked about root rot, this article here can help you identify: https://fiddleleaffigplant.com/root-rot-in-fiddle-leaf-fig/ I also suggest fertilizing your plant every time you water (once a week): https://fiddleleaffigplant.com/fertilize-a-fiddle-leaf-fig/ I hope these articles help!

Hello Tara, your new little girl looks great! As far as the fertilizer goes- you should fertilize your plant every time you water, except in the winter when it is dormant. This post about how often to fertilize your fiddle leaf plant can help answer any questions you have on when to fertilize. As for the watering, I think our Ultimate Guide to Watering Your Fiddle Leaf Fig Plant info page will help answer questions as to how often you should water. I think because she has three trunks verses one, it might be good to get a moisture meter to help determine if it's getting enough water. You can find out more about how to use a moisture meter in this post.
