Sick fiddle

I bought my fiddle leaf dig from Home Depot around the end of fall last year.

It was on clearance, about 5’ tall, the base was already pruned into a tree and not a bush, and it had 3 dime sized limbs cut off so you could tell it used to be bigger.

But it looked fine fine and I bought it.

Then I was watering it too much and most of the leaves went brown. But by that time it was winter so I’ve been letting it hibernate and watering it correctly.

But now now it’s spring. Small leaves were growning around the base before winter hit but it’s been mostly stagnat.

Now that it is spring, Should I put it outside? My yard is mostly direct sun. Should I remove all the leaves that have some brown on it? Even I’m left with one or two leaves? Is that good for it be tots spring?

Will the limbs that were once cut off ever grow back? I’m worried it’s a lost cause because they don’t look any different.

Thanks for your time,
